R. Christopher Noonan, founder
of Preservation Services, is a professional preservation consultant,
land use planner and design/builder. His experience as a
craftsman and artisan combine the academic traditions of
aesthetics, proportion, geometry and symbol of
the Renaissance tradition with 21st century construction
pragmatism. Mr. Noonan has over 20 years in design,
construction, cultural resource, land use and real estate
industries.
He has worked with the National Park Service’s design/build technical
center and also was director of an experimental National
Park Service regional land use institute covering 24 communities
and 450,000 acres of land.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Colby College and a M.S.
in Historical Preservation from the University of Vermont.
Mr. Noonan is a certified Master Builder.
Mr. Noonan is available for speaking engagements to civic,
business, land trust and preservation groups.
